Can BURŪV prevent wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, or sunburn?

No. BURŪV itself does not prevent, treat, or protect against wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, sunburn, or any medical condition, and does not provide sun protection.

BURŪV contains a UV sensor embedded in the band. This sensor measures the UV at your wrist

BURŪV uses UV sensors on the wrist to show your cumulative sun exposure throughout the day, plus advanced algorithms and machine learning to delivery precise data and personalized recommendations.

BURŪV uses highly calibrated UV sensors to deliver accurate and reliable UV index readings directly from your wrist.

Yes, BURŪV measures UV exposure regardless of weather conditions. Even on cloudy days or indoors near windows, UV rays can still reach your skin, and BURŪV accounts for that.

How does BURŪV nudge me to reapply sunscreen?

BURŪV sends subtle notifications to your Apple Watch® or smartphone when it calculates that your sunscreen’s effectiveness may be wearing off based on your activity and UV exposure.

Subscriptions

Does BURŪV require a subscription for advanced features?

No subscription is required to use BURŪV. Founding Members lock in subscription-free updates. If premium features are introduced in the future, Founding Members will never pay a subscription for them.

Charging

How do I charge BURŪV?

BURŪV comes with a magnetic charging dock.

  1. Connect the supplied USB-C cord and power brick to the BURŪV charger included in your box.
  2. Place your watch and band on the charger.
  3. You will see a quick white flash, then the orange light will begin to breathe. This means your band is
    charging.

Charge your BURŪV Band overnight, right alongside your Apple Watch®. Both charge together on the BURŪV charger, so everything is ready for the day ahead.

What devices are compatible with BURŪV?

BURŪV works with Apple Watch® Series 4 or newer and an iPhone running the BURŪV app. Band sizes: Small fits 40 to 42mm watches, Medium fits 44 to 46mm, and Large fits 49mm.

Can BURŪV be used without an Apple Watch?

No, BURŪV cannot be used without an Apple Watch. BURŪV is compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 or newer.

How do I set up my BURUV band?

Setup is simple.

  1. Download the BURŪV app from the App Store.
  2. Open the BURŪV app on your iPhone and approve Bluetooth access. The app will then install on your Apple Watch.
  3. On your watch, press the crown and look for the B icon.
  4. Tap the B icon to pair your band with your watch. A pairing notification will appear on your screen to confirm you're connected.

How do I know if my band is paired?

If the band is not paired, an LED light will flash on the band. If the orange light does not appear during charging, remove the band and watch, confirm the Apple Watch is charging, and place them back on the

In the BURŪV app, you can enter information like Fitzpatrick type and SPF use, then set guidelines for how BURŪV will deliver reminders to support your routine. BURŪV uses this with Skintelligence™ to provide personalized information about your exposure patterns and daily habits to provide tailored guidance.

How does BURŪV handle my personal data?

Can I delete my data if I stop using BURŪV?

Yes, you can request the deletion of your data at any time through the app’s privacy settings.
