Consistent daily application of broad-spectrum sunscreen, ideally at the same time each day, is shown to prevent and even reverse signs of photoaging, leading to healthier and more beautiful skin. Daily use is more effective than intermittent application in reducing UV-induced skin damage, emphasizing the importance of routine and compliance for optimal skin health benefits. The consistency and cosmetic elegance of sunscreen formulations can improve user adherence, ensuring adequate and even coverage, which is critical for effective photoprotection and visible skin improvement. Guidelines recommend applying sunscreen 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every 2–4 hours, with attention to even spreading for best results; however, there is limited direct evidence on the impact of exact timing of daily application beyond overall regularity.
